马来西亚北方大学(UUM)创建于1984年，位于马来西亚北部的吉打州, 校园面积庞大，达1061 公顷（16000亩）。总投资5.8个亿建成的北方大学环境优美，整个校园被热带雨林围绕，是马来西亚半岛最美丽的大学。在校学生25000人，研究生为6185人，拥有15座学生宿舍楼，学术大楼、图书馆、行政大楼、两间礼堂、体育馆、购物中心等等组合林立，错落有序。校区内还开发了高尔夫球、露营基地、射箭场、羚鹿园等。北方大学拥有良好及合适的求学环境与设备，是马来西亚管理类排名第一的公立大学，所以是学生们向往的大学。
